Matchmaking is bugged and putting people in regions/servers they shouldn't be in. If this isn't a bug, then I have to question your ability to competently create a multiplayer game.
I've had a few matches on Chicago servers filled with West Coast players who tell me they get non-stop East Coast matches. My own experience is that I only play on the East Coast about 15% of the time. Clips like the one above are the typical experience when you're playing on a server 2000 miles away from you. Have you guys tried doing that yourselves? Do you bother to actually playtest your own game besides gameplay on some servers in Seattle?
You are never going to make the game fun to play at these distances. There's just too much going on in a match; the laws of physics and shitty American infrastructure are firmly telling you "no". Just fucking stop it with trying to come up with "clever" lag compensation. Instead of giving me a 13 second queue to play on a server in fucking Moses Lake, how about you let me queue up for a couple minutes and get a closer server where I don't have -50% outgoing damage buff because none of my kit works and bullets don't register?
This shit is getting ridiculous, it's not getting better with time or playerbase size. I'm **this** close to just removing the game from my account altogether and forgetting that Deadlock even exists. I've got plenty of friends who've already given up on you and done that.
btw, I didn't even press my ability key to throw that uppercut. Phantom abilities are worse than ever before with whatever changes you've made lately.
