Titus is a fleamarket vendor who wields a haunted hall mirror and a snub-nose revolver. He is an anti-spirit bruiser who wants to get into the middle of the fight as he gets more powerful as he is in the proximity of spell casts or is hurt by spell damage.
Spell descriptions:
1: The Audit
Thrust the mirror forward to create a gravitational vacuum, reducing movement speed by X%. For the duration, Spirit and Bullet damage taken from the front is reduced by X%. Projectiles are absorbed, and enemies in the cone are pulled toward Titus. Upon release or expiration, fire a Mirror Beam that deals damage based on the amount absorbed. If the beam strikes a hero, Titus is healed.
2: Hoarder’s Tax
Passive: Nearby enemy ability casts and Spirit damage taken by Titus charge a Collection Meter. While charged, Titus gains +X% Spirit Resist.
Using a melee attack whilst there is charge in this meter makes it deal bonus spirit damage and heal. If the meter is at 100%, the next Heavy Melee becomes a Mirror Bite. Arthur lunges from the glass, dealing massive damage and Silencing the target. Titus and nearby allies are healed for a percentage of the damage dealt.
Note: If parried, damage is negated, but the target is still silenced and Titus receives a smaller heal.
3: Inventory Charge
Lunge forward, knocking enemies aside and applying a Slow. Reactivate during the lunge to begin charging a Sack Swing. The longer the swing is held, the larger the impact cone. Upon release, enemies hit are Dazed, preventing them from attacking or using abilities and reducing speed, broken when damaged. (identical to being slept)
4: Everything Must Go (Ultimate)
Titus charges forth in a manic sprint, moving faster and slowing enemies hit whilst spilling magical ornaments behind him. Ornaments trigger when stepped on by enemies, applying effects. These ornaments are either Orange (Weapon Damage/Slow) Purple (Spirit Damage/Meter Gain) or Green (Root/Heal-over-time), proportionally distributed based on Titus' build. Titus can run over his own ornaments to gain stacking Weapon Power and Resistance buffs.
Backstory:
Titus runs a flea market with a business partner called Arthur. Whilst Titus is warm and gregarious – great at the talking and making sales - Arthur is cold, calculating and greedy - responsible for the accounting and any negotiations.
After the Maelstrom, household objects in the cursed apple began to be imbued with feral magic energy. Sometimes these objects would be granted with magical energy, but typically they would just release their static latent energy in bursts when touched. Most people immediately brought these ones beloved goods to the flea market as soon as they discovered the imbuement – what good is an armchair that occasionally blasts you off it when you sit down – but Arthur saw a business opportunity. Arthur struck a deal with a power-hungry demon – he would bring it these magical artifacts, and the demon would grant him riches beyond his imagination in return.
One day, Titus arrived at their warehouse and Arthur was nowhere to be found. In a large, ornate hall mirror he thought he saw a slight glimpse of him, but he wasn’t quite sure. Something about the mirror unnerved him – he hated looking at his own reflection through it. For a few weeks he continued as he usually would, but business wasn’t as good without Arthur. One day, one of Arthurs fences dropped off a new bulk of magical doodads and they were placed next to the mirror. Suddenly a voracious, sinister face began to emerge from the frame – the glass unnaturally bent to form his former partner’s cheekbones and stern gaze.
Arthur angrily explained that he had been duped by the demon, and that Titus was such an idiot for marooning him in the mirror for so long. The demon desired a magical vassal, and for some strange reason it had to be a mirror. Once Arthur finished the ritual he couldn’t help but stare his uncanny reflection – he felt that he shouldn’t but still couldn’t muster the will to avert his gaze. Before too long he realised that he was now in the mirror staring back at himself, and then the pain began. The demon had tricked him and had stolen his body and, even worse, had shed the internal rage and suffering that had motivated it in the process. Without his physical form and on his way to becoming a demon himself, Arthur was shit out of luck.
Titus now wanders the streets of the Cursed Apple with Arthur strapped to his shoulder at all times. At the advent of any murmur of magical artifacts he is first to the scene - for some reason he thinks they may help. Upon encountering trouble, Titus removes the cloth covering the mirror and Arthur begins. Rumours across the Cursed Apple talk of a mirror that drains your very spirit – if you are lucky – and others have mentioned a mirror that eats men alive.
