that has the same issue. Its t4 so more expensive single item but still more slot efficient freeing space for the other items. Im fine with that myself and this type of armor is pretty normal in mobas in general but it would have to have less armor than the improved armors and maybe a passive to compensate.I like the idea of having an item with more than 1 component, but I think we're running into a situation here where slot efficiency is too high. This would open up Vitality item space for things like Siphon bullets AND inhibitor on builds that already have Both armors and other vitality items to boot, and I'm not sold on that being a good thing.
I would be OK with a T4 item that provides less Resist for both than this item, but doesn't have either as a component. If someone has THAT much money to blow on resists, let them.
50% is what the upgraded armors give. The base armors give 26%, so 40% is around halfway between those 2. You'd be giving up the option to have either upgraded armors as you can't pick up the components of an item that you already have the upgrade of, so you'd have to find other sources of Resist if you want more (and trust me, 40% might seem like a lot but once you add in all of the sources of resist shredding it ends up not being as much as it sounds).I didnt play much of HON when it was.
Also, 40% doesnt seem modest to me lol. I was thinking 20ish. The items in the other games have very low amounts (15 versus 40+ for tank items).
But from my experience from other Mobas, people still wont buy it because tis not damage lol. Then be mad about how broken characters are like without bothering to buy these counter items.
Could be base items are the 2 t2 armors and upgrades to a t3 for a total of 5500, combines the two together and adds the passive but doesnt increase the armor amount.
Yup. Exactly.50% is what the upgraded armors give. The base armors give 26%, so 40% is around halfway between those 2.
