Rough kit for a melee character built with extra spirit damage in mind.
The character has 3 swords on their back, one wind blade, one flame broadsword, and a chain bound greatsword.

Weapon : A shotgun that shoots in a shield pattern


Ability 1 : Blazing slash
Slash horizontally in front of you in 6m dealing 40 (Melee scaling) damage and causing a burning area, dealing 20 (spirit scaling) damage a second for 4 seconds.

(1AP) : -6s cooldown
(2AP) : +2s burn area duration
(5AP) : Blazing slash is now a whirlwind attack in a 8m base radius and +32 damage per second on the burning area.



Ability 2 : Piercing winds
Prepare your wind blade for 1s then charge in the direction you're looking with omnidirectional movement for 1.75s, piercing through enemies in a 2m radius for 60 (spirit scaling) damage.

(1AP) : -0.4s preparation
(2AP) : -9s cooldown
(5AP) : Now charged ability.



Ability 3 : Chained blade
(passive) landing a Blazing slash hit(once per slash), Piercing winds strike(once per charge) or melee strike provides 1 stack of unchained, which provides +4% melee damage and movement speed per stack, upon reaching 6 stacks the active ability becomes usable.

(active) lunge forward according to your heavy charge distance and strike downwards with the unchained great sword, dealing heavy melee damage plus 80 (spirit scaling) additional damage and counting as a heavy melee attack, but doesn't stun you if parried and the additional spirit damage will pierce through parries. Only usable when at max stacks of unchained, and consumes all stacks upon use.


(1AP) : Being parried or heavy melee'd also provides 1 stack of unchained
(2AP) : Hitting an enemy with the unchained blade grants Blazing slash and Piercing winds +30% cooldown rate for 8 seconds.
(5AP) : +60% heavy charge distance with chained blade and +60 additional damage.



Ability 4 : Empower and release the chained blade, granting you max unchained stacks, preventing consumption of them for the duration, +25% heavy attack charge speed, and 25% lifesteal for the unchained blade, but disabling your gun for up to 5s, allowing you to freely swing the unchained blade.


(1AP) : +20% bullet and spirit resistance during the effect.
(2AP) : 2s duration
(5AP) : 25% of firerate boosts will be applied to heavy melee charge speed and +50% movement speed during the effect.
