Thoughts on the cursed items

We already have some items that apply negative effects to the player,so if a series of "cursed items" only adds more debuffs, it doesn’t feel very special or unique.
That post also mentioned that the secret cursed item shop can sell temporary buffs for whole team.I think cursed items could follow the same style.
My idea is:
After the secret cursed item shop opens in mid-game,players could spend souls to modify their purchased items and unleash their hidden potential.However, because the modification is illegal/unstable, the item cannot last permanently and will eventually break or expire.(just like the buffs you take from Powerups)
In this way,you get a strong temporary power spike, but you have to accept that the original item will be permanently consumed,which means you cannot repurchase the same item again.
Would this create more interesting choices in the mid–to–late game?Curious what you guys think.

I like anything that can make builds more creative so this is a +1 for me.
 
Would likely be the death blow to the game.

It's already mainly win more mechanics. cursed items would exclusively be bought by people way way way ahead, and would have to be game breaking op to even be worth putting in

Being able to buy your teammates power is a very very very bad idea. it's the one limit the game has to counter getting 5 0/xx/0 "teammates" the enemy can only get so strong.

The game would (and already does) need a major overhaul to how death bounty streak work. killing a 0/40/0 and a 40/0 really should not give the same value lol.....but it's essentially every 7 kills is a max tier item, even if you are just farming 0/40/0's, that's really fucking stupid....with yet another win more mechanic, this one requiring money which is what all the OTHER win more mechanics give (well and 3 revives for your worst players) it would mean a snowball on the snowball....

The game needs to fix matchmaking so it can get any sort of quality information. The literal only thing that can be gained from the game right now is player count, because it literally is incapable of making a match.

400+ matches, every single one i've had 3-5 teammates go 0/xx/0 not a SINGLE MATCH has the enemy had that...........while I maintain a 20+ KDA, usually perfect as well, top hero damage and obj damage in the MATCH not just team, and does not matter b/c you can't solo defend your shit, since abilities just always hurt obj and solo you don't get patron immunity.

Really fun.....and that's at literally every single rank in the game if you look at the matchmaking thread. You'll see all the way to eternus, teams with run down lane feeders vs non feeders....half of the FROM THE FEEDERS crying they get dominated in their ranks...

I've had games were my assigned lane mate was playing their 2nd game, and the enemies in our lane had 1000 games on JUST those heroes.....

But I should lose rank when I ended that game 25/0 and my lanemate had a dozen deaths in the first 5 minutes....
