the rating system of the game

Dear developers, I do not understand how the rating system works. Having a novice rating of 5, I won 2 games, but after losing only 1 single game, I was demoted to 4. How is that even possible?

And I would really like you to make a normal designation like at least the same cs2. To see what I got and what I lost.
