This is an idea that I think might be cool if fleshed out well.

The Paintball Pro has a paint ball gun that shoots low damage bullets can imbue his bullets with different effects using his customized paintball gun that injects different colored liquids ( that are definitely not paint ) into the magazine using his abilities.
The abilities are much like invoker quas wex and exort.
Ability 1:
Activate yellow bullets : this makes the gun have bullets faster travel time ( great for last hits )

Ability 2:
Activate blue bullets that apply a slow to the enemies reducing thier movement for a small time (0.3 sec).

Ability 3:
Activate red coloured bullets that have high damage per bullet but slower travel time.

Ability 4:
mixes the last two used bullet colours to create different abilities. I'm Thinking it might be useful to have a visual que on the magazine to make it easier to know what you are mixing.
The forth ability works by pressing the other abilities first then pressing 4 to activate it.
-Yellow + Blue + 4 = shoots a big green bullet (well not bullet but a paintball) that creates a healing pool for a duration.

-Yellow + Red + 4 = fills the magazine with the two coulurs filling it with an orange liquid and ejects it to be thrown at a target area to explode after a duration rooting and disarming enemies. Can be selfcast for instant effect.

- Red + Blue + 4 = shoots a high damage purple bomb that explodes instantly.

This is my initial idea and I know it needs more work and I'm open to suggestions so please tell me what you guys think.

Haven't thought of a background story yet.

I'm still working on the art of the character. And finally sorry for any language mistakes as it's not my native language.

The idea to have different abilities that effect your gun is nice and could work in a fun way. But this suggestion has basicaly nothing in the first 3 abilities and everything in the ultimate, thats probably not a great idea.

I would like to see more unique abilities that effect bullets like;

Ability 1 - Compressed Paint
Every shot costs 4 ammo and deals reduced damage in a small Area. (AoE)
Leveling this could increase the radius, reduce the ammo cost, or increase velocity.

Ability 2 - High Pressured Gass
Shots fly in a straight line with high velocity, and deal increased headshot damage.
Leveling this could give a firerate bonus, or increase headshot damage.

Ability 3 - Scatter Shot
Holding down the fire button will charge up a shotgun like shot, costing 3-6 ammo per shot depending on how long you hold it.
Leveling this could give blowthrough, Slowing effect, or even push the enemy 0.5meters back.


For ultimate you could combine two of these, or have a completely different ability. Like a paintball grenade for example, that shoots pellets like in real life. Something similar to the Tactical Leadburster from Deep Rock Galactic, but then for paintballs.

That's a good take on the paintball abilities, my thought was that he will be weak early on but with versatile left clicks as a trade off for the power spike at 3k souls but he would still be a squishy hero to balance it.
