This is Nuó, a self-sustain character that thrives on risky dives and moderate length fights...In theory.

BIO: Nuó is a priestess that is slowly becoming a Jiangshi, or more accurately the pitch perfect immitation of one. At the moment she is partially transformed, thanks in part to a seal embedded in her chest for which temporarily staves the corruption…Although the human's heart is protected, the curse often leaks into her thoughts and some actions.

The ritual: Nuó’s wish is a bit more tragic simply because she cannot ever attain the wish. Her predicament is a constant tug of war to eliminate the other, a race to see which side of her gets the wish. The compassionate human looking to rid herself of the curse, preserving her humanity...or the monster that corrupts the priestess and all who deny the gift it brings.

[Lunge]
An activatable ability acts similar to in game items such as spirit strike, rather than teleport the player lunges at a (single target) victim and afflict them with a weaker mystic reverb. Unlike Mystic reverb this ability weakens/slows a single target enemy and WILL NOT transfer to other targets when proc-ing. This ability does not stack with Mystic reverb but buffs the item itself! IE: You gain the benefits of the item with an additional weakening effect.
- Will not cancel flight characters but still can reach them in higher tiers, from ground.

[Shared mind. Self taunt/ult]
The highest soul count enemy in the immediate vicinity will be targeted, if caught, the enemy will be possessed by the player's side. The model/code will change said victim to be registered as an ally, thus allowing them to attack enemy teammates.
- Nuó, who clings to the possessed enemy, can be attacked for a quicker cancel to the ult.
- This is to operate as a cc type self taunt as stated before.
- The parasite is drawn to higher powers and must feed on it, hence why the higher soul count detail matters.
- This can be dual casted with the lunge for added height.

[Passive]
Kills give Nuó power additional power, her health regen that increases by a limited percentage (1%-5%-8%?) Helping her scale with both bullet life steal/spirit life steal.

Additional ability is uncertain?

Drawback(s): Has a slower movement speed but makes up for it with great dash/jumping capabilities. (accompanied by cute hopping animations for her walk)

Also can make her have a smaller health pool to make up for her higher health regen. A high risk high reward playstyle.

Let me know what you think of my crazy ramblings, I'd love to hear the thoughts y'all have.

I love possession but its gotta be harder than just giving the enemy a little tickle and then stealing the enemy teams highest value player for however long. Im tempted to suggest making the move work only on dead players but then i feel like im copying viego and I dont like that so maybe some sort of harder commitment like staying within LOS for 5 seconds while you whittle down the enemies mental defense then you get to steal em, but then you can just ignore playing as a character and run metal skin, warpstone and unstoppable and just play as a ult bot but thats a later problem. Last ability should be a generic damage ability to give her a real laning phase, maybe with some sort of mental damage twist.

I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment, especially there needing to be a lane based ability. For the character specifically I wanted to stay within the confines of what I know of the Jiangshi myth and make it as some imitator playing Jiangshi. That way we don't get another vampire and she stands as her own creature, which I guess is more akin to the Flood from Halo or The thing from-...The Thing. The Viego bit gave me a chuckle mostly because I love how it correlates quite well to the subject/inspo of this character to begin with.

Originally I was thinking of a silly projectile based ability, something silly like her taking four incense out of a pot (strung to her side) and throws it outwards in a (small) diamond shape, likely dispersing as the distance grows)
- It does a set number of spirit damage on hit and bonus weapon on headshot.
- The after effect would give an enemy the illusion of a slow (works similar to Ahri's charm where the model will slide to her for a second or two)

As for the ult? Realistically I wanted a big commitment based ult that if pulled off? has devastating consequence for the enemy and the teamfight as a whole. The idea you proposed is great and is an interesting alternative I wish we could see tested in Deadlock!
