Idk why, but the character's screen takes a lot of time to load up the first time once I launch the game but this Lag vanish for the rest of my playthrough. It's not a big deal, but it's annoying to deal with every time I wish the game loads that in the background of my loading screen, just like the rest of the textures of the game, so it won't appear again.

adding that this seems to have started with the holiday update. Asset loading seem to be much slower in general for some reason, even on an nvme ssd. I'd honestly rather have a longer mandatory title screen period to allow assets to load than enter the hideout with laggy/jittery controls.
