Terminology/Search Inconsistency: 'Move Speed' & 'Slow' Related Terms

I used the Gemini English translation.

Summary:
The inconsistent use of speed-related terms in the English client ('Move speed', 'Movement Slow', 'Movespeed') suggests a lack of standardization, making it difficult to verify if Korean search results are fully aligned with the English data.

Description:
The terminology used to describe speed-related penalties and slows is not standardized across item descriptions in the English client.

1. Term Usage Breakdown (English Client - Items with Slow/Penalty Effects):
  • 'Movement Slow': Used in 3 items. (e.g., "60% Movement Slow")
  • 'Move speed': Used in 2 items. (e.g., "-30% Move speed")
  • 'Movespeed' (Attached): Used in 1 item ('Metal Skin' with "−1.5m/s Active Movespeed Penalty").
2. Impact on Cross-Language Verification:
  • This internal inconsistency in the English source text ('Move speed' vs. 'Movement Slow' vs. 'Movespeed') makes it challenging to define a clear, standardized term for all related effects (like '이동 속도' or '이동 속도 둔화') in the Korean client.
  • Although the Korean search for '이동 속도' does currently include these items, the underlying English data is non-uniform, which creates a high risk for future translation or search filter bugs.

Requested Action:
It is requested that the development team standardize the English terminology for all speed-related penalties and slows across all item descriptions.
  • Please confirm if the different terms ('Move speed', 'Movement Slow', 'Movespeed') are intentional to indicate different mechanical effects.
  • If the terms are not mechanically distinct, they should be standardized to a single root term (e.g., always 'Movement Speed' or always 'Move Speed') to ensure the source data is clean for all localized versions.

On this topic I wanted to mention a feature when searching thats in Dota 2 & was in HoN.

You can type in Dota 1 names in the Dota 2 shop search and it would present itself with the item like Lothar's Edge (shadow blade).

Similarly in HoN you could type any Dota item name and it would show itself.

I would like it so that you can type the counterpart or something similar and it would also show in the Deadlock shop.

For example if you typed: Black King Bar or BKB it would show Unstoppable.

Mask of Madness or mom would show Fury Trance.

Blademail would show return fire.

Perhaps Lothar's Edge, shadow blade or Assassin's Shroud (HoN) would show Shadow Weave.

I always thought this feature was super neat and let players learning have a greater experience or let dota players know what items exist in the shop and what doesn't (Linken's Sphere, Nullifier) or I guess you could show it's port like Counterspell or Capacitor - shit like that.

I would also enjoy the filter button that can be seen in the earlier version of the shop/game build.

It was a quick way to find/filter between items rather than search for them.

You could filter movement, gun damage, spirit damage, etc.

Incredibly useful, not sure why it was removed...
