Temp Ban from a failed queue

I was waiting in low-prio queue, when I heard the queue sound pop. I check and the message says "You cannot queue for a new match when already in a match."

I go to try queue-ing again and now I'm banned from MM for 7 days. My previous disconnects were due to system crashes that I believe were related to a recent update, that I believe I finally managed to fix. However, getting banned for 7 days because the game somehow thinks I'm already in a match when it's the first queue I've started since opening the game absolutely sucks. There should be a grace period where failing to even be present for the start of a game shouldn't result in a matchmaking ban to avoid issues like this.

I'll add my similar experience to this thread. While running a party with my friend, he queued into a pre-game lobby but I did not (he disappeared from my hideout). I briefly got a "cannot connect to Steam"message. I then was unable to join the lobby until it timed out, at which point I was able to "rejoin" just as the game started.

But the game, from the beginning, had the "game safe to abandon but will result in a loss" message. And after the match (which I played in full!) I received a temp ban for "abandoning the match". Short ban (this time) but still feels bad.

I got into low prio from being falsely marked as abandoned on one of my games; and now I was falsely marked AGAIN in my low prio games, and I'm up to 5 games.

this happened to me. game pops then back to home screen but it thinks im in a game. try to re que and just back to home screen. have to abandon, got banned and now in low pri for 8 games. Finding low pri games in my region is almost impossible, i can be in que for 30+ minutes. will proably just uninstall.
