Gun - Drums of Death
Taiko is followed by a massive ghostly drum. Primary fire consumes 5 ammo
to bang the drum once, sending out a large wave that passes through enemies.
Alternate fire performs a drum roll, exhausting the rest of your ammo to shoot small weak shots.

Lore
Taiko was once a simple performer living in 1570s Japan. While he didn't make much from his craft he was respected in his community. All of this was taken from him when his village was invaded. Dawning a terrifying mask, him and many others performed as loud as they could to scare away the invaders. The defense worked but Taiko wasn't so lucky. Shot by an arrow, Taiko passed instantly.
And so he rested until the first Maelstrom, awakening his spirit with a new found thirst for destruction. Awoken in a foreign world and utterly alone Taiko took to the Curse Apple to wish for an end to the cruel world he remains trapped in. As the tempo builds up, the end is approaching. Are you ready?

Notes
Taiko's base stats are tankier than most to make up for his lackluster early damage.
As you get more boons, things start to switch. His health scaling is much lower than most tanks so instead he gets his survivability from items and his ultimate.

Taiko's reticle is similar to Vyper's but with an opaque circle growing inside. When it matches with the outer circle is when you would be on beat.
Primary fire is a similar speed to Paige.
Alt fire is incredibly inaccurate especially at range.

Keep Time enhances the next 4 beats NOT the next 4 shots. Any beats missed are wasted.

Rest makes Taiko invincible for a very short moment while teleporting.
Taiko's drum does not vanish with him, allowing enemies to track where he went by following the drum.
Your camera moves with the drum for clarity when teleporting.
The teleport has no vertical movement and can't go through walls.

The knock up on Tempo active scales with how many stacks you consume.
Full fire rate will only be for the OSU players as each hit must be a separate press.
BPM is rounded to the nearest whole number.
Taiko is at his fastest with Fleetfoot and Tempo stacks.

Double Time will last forever if not destroyed but it won't go on cooldown until it is.
You can recast Double Time to destroy it.
If you have not lost shield, successful beats will do nothing.

If you liked this idea check out BPM: Bullets Per Minute. Really cool game super tough but rewarding.

I'm not really on board with these abilities, but I LOVE what you did with the constant beat and doing everything on beat. I've been doing stuff with musical people for a while now and that's an Idea I should have come up with. Mind if I borrow it?
