Rem's Tag Along allows him to escape Hotel Guest in combat.
This isn't what the bug report is about.
It's that if this happens at the end of a street brawl round, the game fails to place Rem back in the correct base because Hotel Guest doesn't have a failsafe for when it technically connects, but does not actually send somebody to The Baroness, so it places him back in the Cursed Apple as though he failed even though he was never in the hotel.
The result is this, which is Rem picking items in the middle of York.

and the time is between 9:51 and 10:15.

I personally would just add a failsafe to Hotel Guest to allow certain moves to let characters slip The Doorman's grasp, preventing the callback to the cast location.
