Passive:


Killing an enemy NPC or dealing 225 damage to an enemy Hero permanently grants you +5 Bonus Health.
This effect can stack up to a Maximum of 45 Stacks.

Gain 2.5% of your Max Health as Spirit Power.
 
This is neat and I like the idea. I'm a little worried about Mo & Krill with this, just because of the 2.5% max health as spirit power, which feels like something that would be it's own item rather than just a passive on this one. This item being 6400 is also interesting when at max stacks it's comparable to Fortitude, maybe that passive would make it worth that. I could see this being 2 items rather than one.

Just for that passive, Something like % of bonus max hp = spirit power will bring this to be more viable on more characters and not just reward characters with high default hp. I hope to see something like this in game, as I am a tank enjoyer.
 
Yeah that's the big worry with scaling items is mo and krill really. Seeing as he already has hp gain from ult. I think there are a few other characters who may benefit from this a bit possibly lash or Yamato but I can just picture him now with 7000k hp laughing as you ult him 4 times and he has done 2k hp with scorn just sitting there.

Especially since 225 damage is a laughable amount and it goes off of NPC damage too.
 
Adjusted stats a bit, and made it upgradable from Extra Spirit

The problem with an item like this is that it isn't clear how some characters could reasonably use it. Of course not every item should be usable on every character, but very few characters have max HP abilities (Billy, Mo) and very few items increase max HP meaningfully (Colossus, Fortitude, Siphon Bullets).

Second, there is a question of whether we need more items that increase spirit power.

I do like the concept of crossing stats somewhat, but I don't see a place for this in the meta except on Billy and as a troll buy on Mo. Have you considered the inverse? Gain X% of Spirit Power as max HP?

As @Intabnito pointed out, heroes like Lash and Yamato would somewhat benefit from the 2.5% of max hp into Spirit Power.


imo Grey Talon would kinda benefit from it as well, but, thats very unlikely.


And to answer your question, no, I hadn't thought of the inverse. Also, I'm all out of ideas as to what changes to make for the passive atm, so, for now, it's gonna remain as it is.
