Surprised this item doesn't exist yet. Ability unlocking items

Have two alternate versions of the tier 4.370.png371.png372.png373.png374.png

As far as how upgrading an ability past what this unlocks would go, two options. 1. You can't. If you want to upgrade it more you have to either buy the upgraded version of this item or sell it to use your own ability points.

2. You can keep upgrading past it but when you sell this item your ability points are refunded.

I think having the option to spend souls to pick up an ability point is acceptable. You only need 2 extra Ability points to max out all of your upgrades by max level (which is now 33) so having each one cost something like 3200 souls wouldn't be a problem

I don't think it should take up an item slot, however. It's already possible to max out your abilities if you turn in 2 Spirit Urns. This sets a specific value to those extra ability points. It's also important to remember that if you are investing a good amount of souls to buy an extra ability point that means you aren't getting investment stats for those souls so I think it's an acceptable tradeoff. 3200 Souls per point is a lot, but if you are already slot locked it's not a bad way to spend souls.

I don't think this is significant as an item to have everything unlocked by the end of the game, but as a way to have more stuff unlocked sooner.

Which, again, I don't think is that big of an issue if you're spending souls on upgrading abilities instead of grabbing items that might otherwise give you an advantage. I would still make it a "You buy an extra Ability point for X amount of souls" rather than an item that just automatically upgrades one of your abilities and occupies an item slot though.
