Support/Utility Item Suggestion List - I think some are pretty cool

I'm about 300 hours into y'all's game, loving it, maining Rem and Paige mostly, currently oracle1. Couple rough/impulsive ideas for new support/utility items:
  • GPS Dart - stick an enemy with a dart that will show their location for the next 20 seconds - 1 minute
    • could also make it have 1 charge so you can choose when to reveal their location temporarily
  • Tiny Camp - briefly and instantly spawn a small area in which food spawns; all souls collected in the next 30 seconds are increased by a percentage -- would help hyper-carries get online faster -- can't benefit self, only allies
    • this would also make supports have to figure out when to be at team fights and when to help hypercarries who avoid fights until the end; supports often just chase their brawler teammates around for most of the game and never worry about carries until super late game. this could incentivize a split presence; pro - carry gets more fed, con - might miss a teamfight that ends in catastrophe.
  • Medic Banner - give ally or trooper a buff/equipment that sends out healing pulses to allies close to it (mobile healing nova since paige and other supports don't always want to be right in the middle of the fights)
  • toggle target selection when buying- when buying an item, choose if you want to be able to cast it on yourself or on allies, can't do both -- make more items able to be cast on allies
    • examples:
      • Unstoppable - when bought, can choose to only be able to cast on allies, not yourself
      • ethereal shift
      • counterspell (you parry on their behalf from a distance to save them from an enemy ability; they have to be targeted and in line of sight when you parry; insta cast would be the only option)
      • majestic leap
      • metal skin
  • Sacrificial Offering - swap places with an ally in front of you who is about to die, let them escape, probably die yourself (i get that rescue beam makes more sense; actually now that I think about it, this would be an overpowered item on dynamo or other brawler/tank characters)
    • could also be like geist ultimate but with teammates - swap their health for yours (allies only of course) -- this could be pretty cool i think
  • aura of joy - slight increase to all regen, mostly stamina and health, for allies close to you
  • Polygon Armor - ally can only take damage from a certain direction (i.e., cone on ally so they can only be damaged from the front)
  • Announced Presence - show your location on the map and hide your teammates locations for a period of time
    • Faulty Radar - scramble your team's map icons for the opponents (i.e., they know someone is in that spot, but the hero image might be wrong)
    • Shadow Clone - make your map icon pop up on other side of the map, but reveal your true location simultaneously -- enemy team will have to get eyes on your to know which location is true
  • Midboss fake item - can cause the 'damaged' and 'rejuvenator is descending' sounds to go off without actually being at midboss
  • Patron's Mercy/Favor - could be a lot of things
    • single use big permanent buff to one ally
    • ally is in danger, cast it, patron or their hand pops up around them and helps somehow
      • teleport back to base with soul penalty, big debuff on a timer (i.e., penalties to dmg resists, health, dmg output, etc.)
      • full health, but will die in a short amount of time -- almost like a second wind barbarian ability (see below, could be its own item)
      • teleport to random location on the map, maybe somewhere safe, maybe not
      • idk
  • To the death - ally about to die instantly gets full health, but will die 5 seconds later no matter what; ally is going to die anyways so you just give them a second wind to deal as much dmg as possible
  • Steel-Toed-Boots - temporarily protect ally from ground dmg (i.e., infernus trail, ivy brambles, geist bomb, etc.)
    • based on idea that counter items for enemy heroes that supports can use would be cool
      • make these items support-only -- i.e., can only be cast on allies, not yourself
I think some more support options/items would be cool; supports put the team first anyways, so it'd be fun to have more variety/options. map interference would be insane, mind games, strategy, etc.
