Stuck in Loading Screen

I keep getting stuck in the loading screen when joining a game. I am able to press esc and it offers me the options to leave spectate mode or continue playing. The only fix is to close game in task manager and reboot game and then rejoin. Usually on the second or third reboot it lets me in. I've verified the games file integrity and it didnt fix anything.

my post. my verify file integerity stuck at 0%. I reinstalled, turned off steam cloud saves and verify integrity every update and not had it since.

If you click leave spectate you risk getting matchmaking ban as i did (30 mins but i believe scales up quick), if you idle in load screen for 2-5 mins it drops lobby (with no punishment in my case)

Also experiencing this exact bug.

I do however play on linux. Game validates all files fine.
