Strict Ban Penalties

I understand that people leaving and by proxy throwing games can be a real pain, and I appreciate that Valve is doing what they can to nip this problem in the bud the best they can.

However in situations like mine where I just happen to be needed away from my PC fairly often have now amounted to a 5 day pain and needing to win 6 low priority matches in order to play the game normally again. I admit that there's been at least one match where I left out of anger, but there's been plenty more where I needed to step away to attend to matters in the home and now I can't even spend my down time playing this game I've come to really like.

There's gotta be a better way to handle these bans, at the very least a system for people to appeal their bans. I hope if anyone sees this if they can be lenient in my case, as well as those others who've been banned for similar reasons or even being banned for crashes.

Why would anyone be lenient on your case? You admitted that you've abandoned several matches for no reason, including one which you ragequit. Even if we assumed they did let you appeal, what part of this is something that can be appealed?

I think Street Brawl would be a better choice when you are not sure if you are leaving the PC abruptly in the next 60 minutes.

I helped my friend get out of the lowprio hell (my friend's first MOBA, left like 3-5 games because he didn't calculate for lunch/dinner time) and yeah I get you, it's the worst way of playing Deadlock and it will requiere you win in a game full of cheaters, leavers, ragequitters, the worse mentality... and you are left with no hope other than playing in the team that doesn't lose or the team that gets the cheater and you can come back to the normal Deadlock.

And I'm lying when I said I helped my friend out... I only tried to help my friend, because 2 games of that horror were enough to make me leave him on his own, and to be honest, my guy also learnt his lesson, he religiously looks at the clock before queueing up. Street Brawl is the best solution for that uncertain but less than 60min play time.
