Steam Deck - cannot enter numbers into match ID search box

I've tried both the on-screen keyboard and a remote computer with a physical keyboard connected via Remote Play, both with the Steam Deck in game mode and with the Steam Deck in desktop mode. No numbers appear in the match ID box (Watch->Search By Match ID) when I type numbers.

Oh, forgot to mention (and I don't see an edit button): The numbers DO appear when typed on my Linux laptop.

a workaround i found for this, use it on desktop mode and change it to windowed mode, click off the window with your touchscreen, turn on your keyboard, then use the touchscreen again and click back on the game window. i used this workaround to get forums access lol
