I've seen this posted around a bunch, and no fixes or attention from devs. Hoping this post does something because I'm completely unable to play the game at the moment.
This is an on again off again issue, it seems to only be affecting me in my friend group, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of info for what causes the crash. and testing against other games for faulty hardware doesn't draw any meaningful conclusions at all. (No logs in event viewer whatsoever about the crash, only an acknowledgement that the system didn't shut down properly)
Whenever I load into Deadlock either through sandbox, a normal match, or bot match. The game will crash and leave me with a black screen, The only way to recover from this is to forcibly power off my computer and reboot it. Specs: Intel 12900k, 32GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR5 Ram, Sapphire Radeon 7900GRE.

- Running game in windowed mode
- Running game at a lower resolution. (I Normally play at 21:9/3440*1440)
- Running game in both DX11 and Vulkan modes
OS Level attempts to fix issue
- Clean removal of AMD drivers from system using DDU
- Reinstall of AMD Drivers
- Repeat of Steps 1 & 2 and installing only basic AMD driver package
- Rollback of windows update
- Clean install of Windows 11
- Clean Install of Fedora Linux (Longest time without crash 11 minutes, once.
- Since the install, Deadlock continues to crash in the same fashion like it did before in Windows 11.
I've ruled out hardware due to this issue and this crash not happening in other games.
Any and all help would be appreciated
