SOUL ORBS invisible?

sometimes the soul orb will be invisible after the green puff of smoke eg

Happens all the time for both friendly and enemy orbs and it's annoying

Seems like the most recent major patch made this worse

[lucmckenzie6] in a thread mention it was an FPS issue, and for me personally it was. I locked my fps to 35 for reasons and finally decided to try to fix it because it was happening more frequently, and my opponent were denial souls I couldn't see. I capped FPS at 65 now and it stopped happening.

Still around 30% orbs invisible in most recent patch today. I am absolutely not prefiring. Red orbs sometimes invisible now which did not happen before

It's happening in every game for me now, got worse after latest patch. Need hotfix asap.

Interesting that so many people are encountering this. I've only ever seen disappearing orbs when firing at them too early (also a bug).

I wonder if the bug is specific to certain hardware or video settings.

For context I use an RTX 3080 (FE), AMD Ryzen 5900x, 32GB RAM and have attached my video.txt (the video settings).

bumping this, it's happening for me all the time. I've seen some people say it might be related to FPS, I'm also wondering if it's happening to people with higher graphics settings (mine are set as low as possible for the most part)

Posted another issue to Reddit, where even hitting the orbs isn't a guarantee that I will secure them. So of the troopers I shoot at, I can secure maybe 10% of their souls.

I already tried reinstalling, verifying game files, etc, but nothing's fixing this bug for me.

As of 12/1/24 this is still a problem. Makes solo laning impossible.
