This is a concept for Invoker's system of creating spells using elements

It would largely work the same as dota, with some key differences:

There are no dedicated keys for created spells
Spells don't have cooldowns, instead the cooldowns are on the elements themselves

Pressing your 1-2-3 keys will "equip" an element causing it to float around you and putting it on cooldown
Elements have charges (3 charges per element)

Using your ult (should be unlocked at lvl 1) with 3 elements equipped will use them up to create a spell
Pressing your ult key again will allow you to cast that spell
After casting that spell your ult slot becomes emptied, allowing you to create another


Bonus idea: equipped elements give you stat bonuses:

The 3 elements correspond to weapon, vitality, spirit
Equipping an element will give you stat buffs of their type
Having multiple of the same element equipped would stack the buff
Putting AP points into an element would give you more stats for that element

Here's an example:

Lets say your second ability corresponds to vitality
Using it will equip the element and give you 25 health, using it 2 more times would stack it and give you 75 health
Using your ult to create a spell would use up those elements so you would lose those buffs
The first ap upgrade could give you +1 health regen per element, the second 2.5% spirit and bullet resist and the final one could give you something like +1 stamina (these are just examples)

The weapon element could give you some combination of weapon damage, fire rate, ammo (which would allow for viable weapon builds)

The spirit element would largely depend on the actual spells themselves but would probably give you some combination of spirit, duration and range


putting ap into ult could give a small buff to all spells, like better scaling, for example
