Sleep wake-up mechanic

Why not make a wake-up mechanic? Like giving your teammates a "slap" to wake them up. I think it'd work great cause it would be a both rewarding and risky mechanic. Rewarding, cause you can wake up your teammates from Haze's (and eventually new hero Rem) sleep, obviously, and risky cause you need to go into melee range to wake up your teammate, which is already bad enough (easier for nukers like pocket or lash to hit both of you), plus heroes like haze could use this mechanic for their advantage (dash into sleeped enemy and pressing parry, to bait their teammate).

I think this would generally make the game more interesting, plus I know how much everyone hates Haze's sleep.

I would image this as simply making damage increasingly reduce any CC on the target, just a standard game mechanic. If you are CC'ed in anyway, as you take damage the effect's duration is reduced. Makes CC in 1v1 still feel meaningful, but not as horrible when you are jumped and makes chain CC in group combat less horrible for the target.

Can't tell you how many times in a match the whole enemy team simply hard targeted myself or our carried and CC'ed them to death before the player was even able to push a button or attempt any type of escape (or friendly team able to think about mounting a rescue/counter).

Then again, I personally, think hard CC in any type of game sucks. Completely removing a player's agency feels ick to me.
