Silencer Bullets Build on Melee

Why does Silencer Bullet Build up on Melee? I think the game thinks it's a bullet. It does according to the build up.

So that means, express shot + sliencer, run up, double shot as Abrams, into shoulder charge, into a light/heavy melee and it immediately sliences them.

Everything that builds up on bullets or is an effect of bullet hits is triggered by melee. Backstabber, Silencer, Spirit Shredder Bullets, Toxic Bullets. Everything.

why not,It is specifically described in the text.
So I'm just finding it applies to all damage procs, with the exception of Infernus' after burn, where it is not damage procs (makes sense, it is an ability, that is based on triggering when a weapon hit is done, not giving it an additional weapon hit). This is also the reason why melee does not give extra fixation stacks (passive 3) on haze.

Okay, I get it now. However, where does it specifically describe it? I don't see it one bit...

Haze/Infernus:
>If the weapon hits, the passive ability will do something.

Vyper, or any other weapon proc:
>When you get this ability/upgrade/weapon, add the weapon proc to your base character on weapon triggers.
