Significant Packet Loss and Jitter on Linux

One of the recent patches has made the game unplayable for me on Linux. (Fedora 43)

Every game, I get jitter spikes every 10 seconds or so that correspond to console messages saying that packets are being delivered late. (~10-25% of user inputs missed, ~150ms of network jitter)

Troubleshooting I have tried:
Changing network manager in Linux
Restarting router.
Manually setting DNS
Disabling wlan card power saving.
Completely purging and reinstalling Steam/Deadlock.

Rebooting into Windows, I don't get any of these issues and get rock solid 5 ping and no packet loss at all.

I am running the latest available kernel, and my system is up to date on both windows and Linux

This is a shame as the game runs significantly better for me under Linux.

Seconding on Linux Mint 22.3, Cinnamon. I haven't done the troubleshooting OP did outside of a Deadlock reinstall (which didn't fix it), and I don't have my PC set up for dual boot to verify it's a Linux issue for me. Further notes:
  • I'm on WiFi. I haven't tested with ethernet due to it being unfeasible for my current setup.
  • Average ping is about typical according to speed tests (~100 ms), but net jitter is ~200 ms for me.
  • I've been experiencing this issue since March 28th, but the bug itself may have started shortly before this since I was taking a small break from the game until then.
  • I haven't noticed this with any other games (including other Valve titles), so this is definitively a Deadlock-specific bug.
  • I'm located in North Carolina.
If more info (specs, footage, etc.) is needed I'm happy to provide!

I'm on windows but I've had jitter issues pretty hard for a while. The fix I've tried with good success is a VPN. Happens very rarely now but not 100% gone.
