Name: Siegfried
I imagine him looking perhaps akin to the Dragon knight from dota 2 but
with a more maybe realistic armor look thats in line with maybe germanic
plate armor with maybe taking some ques from the Dota netflix show
and having that armor be engraved with runes as its made from the dragons
he's slayed
Backstory / Motive: The reason he would be here i feel could be for one of 2 reasons;
The first could be that he seeks to complete his immortality as when he bathed in the
blood of fafnir, a leaf blocked him from gaining true invincibility much akin to Achilles
and so he seeks to complete his invincibility with him perhaps being selfish or vain.
The second reason could be that perhaps the blood of fafnir has corrupted him and now
hes losing himself to fafnirs control as he and fafnir fight for control over his body and he
could still be vain and selfish in his reasoning for wanting to stop this but another option
could be that he fears he might hurt others and is trying to be a true hero in revoking all
gifts he received from the blood of fafnir and wants to purge himself of the dragons soul.
Gun: I personally REALLY would like to see him actually NOT have a gun which will partially be
made up for with his abilities and also by the fact that his regular attack will count as melee
effects with maybe a small distance flame slash that goes maybe a few meters from his sword
working like if silvers transformed attacks could hit people maybe a meter or 2 further out.
Ability 1: His first ability is gonna be pretty similar to a different melee only character from a hero
shooter all of us should know being Reinhardt's flame slash thing with this would be on
pretty short cooldown of around maybe 5 to 10 seconds and do some CHUNKIER damage
maybe even counting as pure melee damage meaning it benefits from melee damage and
weapon damage boosting items directly nevermind how hard this would go with witchmail.
Ability 2: His second ability would be the ability to hold up his shield to block damage from the front
providing a resistance boost to all damage but at the cost of movement speed with this could
perhaps also have a passive effect like many riot shield type items where even while not holding
it up, it provides the damage resistance but simply ONLY on the shield itself allowing for the
unique ability to do a technique called bishoping to maintain you speed while still reducing damage
as you charge down enemies.
Ability 2 (alt idea): He could also just have a version of Reinhardt's shield where he holds his shield up
and a flame barrier forms infront of him that his allies can shoot through but enemies
cant until the flame barrier is broken and this frankly probably a FAR better idea even if I
really like the primary idea i came up with.
Ability 3: His third ability would be a passive that i think should be venators old datamined passive
that allows him to build up resistances the more damage he takes up to 30% total resistance
on top of maybe a base resistance level of 10% resistance to all damage since i imagine he
should be in a full suit of armor and that would only make sense especially given siegfrieds
invincibility he gained in legend from bathing in fafnirs blood.
Ultimate: I feel his ultimate should be a transformation similar to silvers but there are a few ways it could
be that i think would make it more interesting than just another monster transformation;
The first option i can think of to make it different would be that it should perhaps be a tiered
transformation with a rage meter similar to shivs where as he takes and does damage, he builds
up rage until the meter fills where it starts on meter 2 going through levels of rage up to maybe
3 levels. Each level of rage would increase the power and change the level of transformation
with no rage just makes him become engulfed in flame gaining resistances and bonus damage.
Level 1 is where the first ACTUAL transformation occurs with you can think of davions transformations
from the dota netflix show as i will show here;
at this level, fafnir begins to show himself and take control as Siegfried would loose his sword
and shield instead gaining claws and a higher damage claw slash for his one and a leap similar
to silvers in place of his 2 with his 3 now granting him a base 20% resistance to all damage before
the added resistances from damage taken. At level 2 rage, he gains wings and can fly for short durations
instead of just leaping and he gains weapon damage as he takes damage with a spitball number
for right now simply being half of the berserker item. Finally, at level 3 rage is where things
become interesting as he transforms into fafnir fully looking something like this;

At this point is where the possible options i mentioned kick in as one route i think to balance
how powerful this feels like it SHOULD be would be that he now cant stop himself from
hurting allies so allies need to pull back behind him and let him go full fucking raid boss on the
the enemy team though this could be SUPER annoying gameplay wise so it would 100% actually
have to be HARDCORE tested to see if it could be a viable way to do things or not with as for
my other idea would be that he gains a serious weakpoint at the base of his neck that would
look something like this;

Perhaps being the wound Siegfried inflicted on Fafnir being so severe that it shows itself even
now so while powerful, if your allies dont protect you from gun heroes focusing your heart,
you wont last anywhere near as long as you could.
All in all, this idea is one i wont deny in large part takes from a lot of different pre existing heroes concepts and tries to work them into deadlock (admittedly pretty poorly and without any actual hard numbers for literally ANYTHING, i know) and is 100% mostly just pure CONCEPT but no actual GAMEPLAY ideas so if anyone has ideas for numbers and or things they think could or should be different, feel free to give a shout and say your piece cause being able to add more defined, ACTUAL numbers would be neato.
