Its similar to shooting issue after flame dash without re clicking left mouse button but it also happens with Ivy flying if it gets cancelled automatically, or single target items where you target with your first left click and then you need to re-click the button to shoot again. Some items/ability examples could be flame dash, ivy flying, paradox swap, slowing hex or curse.
