shiv and victor ult bug

if shiv kill victor when victor has reincornation by maxed ult, shiv ult goes into cooldown. i think this is a bug, please fix it

Isn't a bug but I do think ult should reset upon 'killing' victor, because you're still gonna have to deal with his stun regardless afterwards.
Having victor be a hard counter to shiv doesn't feel like an actual answer to his kit.

I respectfully disagree. Victor's ultimate is a reanimation IE coming back from the dead.

I think anything triggered by death should still count.

When shiv kills someone with his ultimate and they have rejuvenator or cheat death. He shouldn't get a free ultimate refresher.

You've brought up 3 separate things here, Conflating these is a mistake in my opinion.
Having Rejuv shutdown Shiv just arbitrarily kills any potential Shiv has to help his team besides being a one and done, having multiple Rejuv charges just compounds this effect.
I agree that Cheat death should consume a Shiv ult and not reset ultimate, but on the basis that buying the item is an active choice that the player has to make.
Making Victor's ultimate a passive hard counter to Shiv leads to shutting down Shiv's usefulness in a team fight scenario all for one ult that can just be refreshed immediately, all for a choice that the player doesn't make actively.


You are aware that Shiv lv3 makes a successful execution reset ult right? your original phrasing conveys that you assume that this is not an intended part of the kit. Getting rid of this part because it's just blatant patronizing for no purpose.

Just clarifying: Shiv ult will reset on executing a person with a Rejuv token.

Shiv ult does NOT reset on executing a Victor with his ultimate or a person with Cheat Death.

I think it should be able to reset on Victor's ult and Rejuv tokens, but not on Cheat Death, since the item saves you at 1 hp. Victor's ult and Rejuv tokens do actually cause you to "die" (or at least hit 0 hp), so they should reset Shiv's ult.

Well there's an easy way to settle this, let's just look at the historical precedent with Wraith King, how does his ult interact with Scythe, Cull, Finger of Death, Flesh Heap, Glaives of Wisdom, and we can see how Shiv's ult is supposed to interact with ressurection effects.
