I am throwing ideas around, I have ideas for parts of the kit but its not all that in-depth
I haven't really thought about the gun as much as the abilities, so its really open to ideas still.
Abilities :
1 - Invest : empower an allied hero or group of minions with resistances and spirit power, a small percentage of souls and healing they gain are also granted to you unless you were already receiving a portion from the source.
The idea is if you want to lean support you can give this buff to a more carry focused hero so you can get extra money from their farm, it would probably have a long duration but also a long cooldown, maybe 10 second base duration and like 40+ second cd, upgrades could grant movement speed, make affected minions secure orbs, or even make minions target players with more damage based on your spirit power.
2 - Smuggled artifact : An empty ability slot that can be filled with an active item from the shop, allowing the item to be affected by ability-affecting items and other actives (Echo shard and Refresher cannot fill this slot)
I've wanted to echo shard certain shop actives for such a long time, and I feel like for this to work certain active items would need to be given more scaling specifically for this character so it'd be a lot of work, but I would love to see certain active items become more impactful. Upgrades could possibly grant the extra scaling for items or perhaps an early upgrade that causes the first active item you buy afterwards to be on discount.
3 - Faulty goods (passive) : broken boxes and jars will grant a short movement speed boost and "repair" themselves a few seconds after being broken, and for a long duration they will remain, causing a small damaging AoE when destroyed. (they would be replaced by the normal box spawns)
upgrades would probably provide more buffs when breaking boxes, or potentially provide an active ability that manually spawns trapped boxes so it can be used in fights, I've also considered the idea of being able to trap sinners sacrifices so they stun enemies on completion.
4 - Enchanted Pendant : Hover, letting your greatest treasures power run wild with movement similar to calico ult, but with a larger AoE, granting allies within 2x cooldown rate, and enemies 1/2 cooldown rate on top of slowly giving allies within barrier up to a max and dealing DoT to enemies.
This is the ability im least sure about, as most of the interesting parts of this character are the rest of his kit but I still wanted it to do something unique, on top of needing something to do a little bit more reliable damage/support depending on the build you're after, perhaps upgrades could increase speed during it, AoE, or let you use items/abilities during it.
I was mostly thinking about this character with support in mind, but the idea is you can build a large variety of builds since one of your abilities is a shop item, and since most characters need some spirit damage in their kit being able to place trap boxes is necessary for his 3rd ability, but the passive aspect of it is meant to always be useful as a rotational tool incentivizing going out of your way for boxes.
