I was offered Boundless Spirit when I had Improved Spirit, with Spirit Shredder as a bonus. I sold Improved Spirit and got neither of the items. The item selection bugged out and I was forced to reroll, but the game thought I had 12 items when I only had 11 so I had to sell something. I ended the game with 11 items.
If I didn't have a reroll, I think I would have been softlocked.
