Heroes get damage from having more souls. In the sanbox, we start with 100k+ souls. The damage for being "leveled up" is not applied. On yamato, if you upgrade the 2 ability to max, you acquire the boon damage increases to bullets. No other ability affects if you get this increase or not. Either you have the 5 tier on 2, or you don't.
