Rem's Tag Along ability cancelled with jumping

I encountered this bizarre bug with Rem's Tag Along ability where it seemed to cancel itself for seemingly no reason. After the game I was able to recreate the bug, and it seems to happen when you do so much as press spacebar during the cast animation. I'm positive this wasn't happening the previous update, and I doubt it's intended. I put clips of it happening both in game and in the hideout
