Reconnecting to a Match still results in temp ban

As thread title. Reconnecting to a game after a crash still results in a temp ban.

My internet went out and i dc for 2 minutes then came back and won the game but still got banned for a whole day

Today on 12/1 I also experienced a similar bug. If at most I have only left 1 game in my accounts lifespan of 200+ games. Although today my internet connection dropped for about 5 - 7 minutes. Once my connection was restored and I received a steam error while booting deadlock and had no option to rejoin my match. I restarted steam, rebooted deadlock and was able to rejoin the game. We finished out the match and was gifted with a 2 hour ban.

I understand things happen but I hope this helps if possible. It seemed if there may be a client side issue with a mirrored connection. As if i couldn't connect because i was still "in the game"

I was playing Bebop and my connection went bad all of a sudden and tried to pause and reset the network, reconnected and was still poor tried again with something else and that got me back in but someone had left and i get a temp ban till 12/6/2024 3:50 PM. Note this is the second time i got a ban like this but the first of this magnitude.

Me too, this needs to be fixed. Got a 9 hour temp ban

I contacted a discord mod and they said: "In-game bans such as that nature are handled by Valve and their systems, and there is no traditional method of "contacting support" in this case."

Bug still happening just got a 6 hour ban.
