Rank Suddenly Dropped Massively

My account,"155,693,721" previously ascendant 5 has suddenly become ritualist 3 after the latest update. I was playing in ascendant lobbies just a week ago. I thought this was maybe just a visual bug and tested in StreetBrawl, but my mmr does seem to have suddenly reset to new player lobbies (assuming streetbrawl takes rank into account at all : P).
