Random Crashing & Stutters

Recently my friend have had issues with Deadlock crashing on him at random given times in a match. We can't really figure when it starts to crash except it seems to only happen when we are in fights.

He is also having random stutters that appeared after last weeks update.


His system: i9-14900KF - RTX 4090 - 64GB 6400mhz

What we have tried / checked:

1. Reinstall Deadlock
2. Fully driver updating his system + BIOS.
3. Changed all settings to low
4. No background apps running.
5. His CPU and GPU are only at around 40 - 60% usage
6. Tested with other games, running fine.

We are going to do some benchmarking on his system to see if there might be any faults with it later on. But it seems unlikely that there should be anything since it only appears on Deadlock at this time.

Anyone else had any issues? I haven't had anything and my system is like his just with a i9-13900KF instead.

I also have what seems to be the same issue. Random crashing when playing, game suddenly freezes and instantly closes. No error messages, nothing, just back to desktop. Mine isn't specifically happening in fights, it seems to be just quite random. I have also done everything on your list there, other than a benchmark on my system.

I have i9-13900k - RTX 4070 TI - 32gb 6400mhz - Windows 11

Edit: I can also never find any trace of crashes in the Event Viewer after this happens.

Ryzen 5800x - RX 6800 - 32gb 3200mhz - Win10

I used to just have in-game crashes, sometimes team fights, but most often just clicking items in the shop.

Instead of just game crashes, my entire pc will restart now.

I have gone through the same troubleshooting steps as Spektrum as well as stress testing and memtest86. No issues show in event viewer or other logging.

I thought I had fixed it by switching from Vulkan to DX11 but I have since started crashing again with no indication of what is causing the crashes.
