Random Crashing During Gameplay

Ever since the Old Gods, New Blood update my game has been crashing seemingly at random. Nothing specific triggers the crash, nor is there a way to replicate them, it just happens at random. Sometimes I go multiple Street Brawl games without a problem, other times I crash during a game, and then crash trying to reconnect to the match. I'm not quite sure what the issue could be. I've updated my drivers and am running the game as low as it can go and I still crash frequently. Any help would be appreciated

Some specs if it helps:
Windows 10
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
Intel Core i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90 GHz
16GB Ram

Sorry you've been having this issue! I've also been suffering from this!

Could you try playing a private bot match and keep your developer console open? or open it when you notice the freeze happening. You enable it in the settings and then turn it on with f7.

It will give you a readout that you can either screenshot or just copy & paste here into the forums.

The reason I ask is because there is a common Source2 bug that's been going around where the local game gets ahead of the server, and the server - trying to fix this - gets caught in an infinite loop reading out something like "prediction time is ahead of sim time, clamping overlap" hundreds of times a second and then shitting itself. I'm curious if that's the same issue.

Other than that, folks with crashing issues have found success updating their motherboards BIOS and turning off all overclocking on their hardware.

I, unfortunately, have not noticed any success no matter what I do. The issue comes and goes with no telling as to why.

Do get that console readout, please. I have a feeling that we're having the same issue, but I'm not crashing every time because I have 64 gigs of ram and the game has time to force a DC before the allocated space fills up. The Devs clearly have a lot on their plate, and spoonfeeding them as much diagnostic data about this as possible is probably the quickest way to help them fix this.

It'd be quite hard to get the console up when it happens cuz the game just instantly freezes. Won't be able to open the console if the games unresponsive. Even then, if it's open when the game freezes I don't think the console will show anything since... The game is frozen. Most I can do is just record a clip of it happening in general, but to explain what happens; My game just freezes with most of the audio still playing (specifically looping stuff), then after a bit it just hard crashes. Either that or I have to go out of my way to close it with task manager.

I appreciate the response, however! Praying this issue gets resolved.
