Quick AP upgrades using TAB and then the ability key uses the ability

I had my keybinds for a while now where I hold TAB and press the ability key to quickly upgrade the ability, recently I noticed in a match with Wraith that whenever I upgraded my cards I would shoot one, same for using teleport or full auto. This worked perfectly fine not long ago where it didnt shoot out any cards

Tested it more and it seems to only happen when my alt cast is on press and hold, having it on double tap fixes it

I can confirm I have my alt cast on "press and hold" and have the same bug. I waste a card whenever upgrading with the shortcut TAB + ability 1 bind. It used to work fine a few patches ago.
I am forced to either change my alt cast which is inconvenient or use TAB + click on the ability to upgrade which is not ideal while fighting ingame.
