Pressing party VOIP key freezes game

As the title says, every time I press the party voice chat keybind, currently bound to the apostrophe key for me, my game freezes and I am forced to force close and re-open it. The freeze occurs even if I press the key while typing in the game chat.

Just tested this again, freeze only occurs if I am in a party, pressing the bind in the hideout alone has no effect. Joined a party with a friend of mine to test it and we both experienced the same crash immediately upon pressing our respective party VOIP keys. We are both running the game via proton on linux, which is likely related to the bug. The game does not even fully crash, it simply freezes completely and must be force closed.

I can replicate this 100% of times on my Arch Linux deadlock. Regular voice chat works. Binding a party voice button and pressing it will freeze and crash BOTH deadlock and steam.

And of course ticking "keep mic open" will crash the game on startup.
