Possible Chat Ban False Flag?

Edit: I played 7 games after getting unrestricted and was re-muted. I was careful to not say anything other than short callouts or discussions about things like pushing/mid/urn. https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/comms-restricted-again-after-5-games.43094/

I normally wouldn't post something like this because I know how much this makes me look like "that guy", but I believe the system has somehow incorrectly flagged me for a chat ban. The only thing i had been doing was call-outs and strategy discussion. The game that I received the penalty for I had actually left the voice coms completely because the other players were being toxic.

Recently I switched to open mic, and there have been quite a few instances where people mention that they can't hear me, and I have to let them know that I'm not talking and that for some reason open mic shows the speech bubble below my portrait. Could the fact that the game be registering my mic as being on for an extended period of time have something to do with this?

I believe this has happened to me too, I even watched the past couple replays and I was not toxic - in fact I was top player on my team a few times and I was streaming on twitch - no reason for me to be toxic.

I also get commended almost every game by team and enemies, I would like to believe this would help with the restriction from reports.

Same thing here, I got Comms Restricted and I can no longer queue Ranked for 4 days.
The only 'bad' thing I typed was calling someone an 'idiot' at the end of the match. I didn't use Voice chat all game.

I feel like if we are willing enough to post our matches and go as far as to come on here and look for a solution, then it should be something that should be checked out in concern for the broader demographic.

Why use a microphone if people can just report you for something as silly as as not liking the sound of your voice, and get punished for it?
(illegitimate reason to report someone, but the fact that it was actually reported the system will trigger a restriction/false flag)
I hope this is not the case.
 
The comm restriction in place right now is definitely based off of number of reports. Its extremely flawed and I don't understand why they are even using that method. Why can I queue with friends and we all spam report someone so they get comm restricted? F

Yea its genuinely just a bad system and I am hoping they change it.
 
I was chat banned, because the team I was on que'd together and I the solo in a regular match over a month ago. I won the match (Literally had almost the same amount of player damage, OBJ damage, Healing, and souls as the rest of my team put together) and they spam reported me. Okay no problem, just let it be and don't worry about it. Today, after several victory's/losses this week, and dozens of commendations from both my team and the opposing team players, I got a similar event, I did the majority of Player damage, and OBJ off the start, enemy team would hunt me down and constantly in 1v3 situations or diving our base killing me. Team didn't like it and I kept on, no foul language or insults their way but lots my way, again I got a chat ban but for 5 days and now no Ranked mode for that 5 days too? Why am I being punished or locked out of playing, because of delinquent jerks who throw a fit?

I already received 2 mutes this week
for the first mute I guess what it was for, but after it passed I LITERALLY did not say anything bad even towards those who really deserved it
I really can’t put my finger on why I was tortured and i think it’s a system error, so please look into it (or at least tell me the reason why I received mute), thank you

There shouldn't be any report system outside of manual reports made to moderators if the automation is going to be this worthless.
 
same thing here got banned, after playing 2 games without saying anything toxic to anyone, just got unmuted that day too just to get muted again for 2 weeks
 
same thing happened here. it's an exploit as the majority of bans are automated except the perma bans which a human actually decides on after enough automated bans have happened.

if enough people report you then you'll get comms restricted.
