Ping Rebind Issue

When reassigning the bind for ping to anything except M3, you cannot communicate ability cooldowns with your team. Items don't have this issue since M1 works on them.

This is really annoying as I don't like using M3 because it deteriorates the lifespan of most mice scrollwheels.

I also have this issue.

• The `Ping / Chat Wheel` key is re-bound from `M3` to the `.` key, which is bound to a mouse key.
• The modified `Ping / Chat Wheel` key functions correctly for quick pings in the environment: heroes, objectives, shops, and locations; It also works for activating the chat wheel.
• The modified `Ping / Chat Wheel` key does not function correctly for pings of items, abilities, and hero portraits.

Same for me. When I click on my abilities my character will not say it's on cooldown or ready to use—either it just upgrades or vibrates if it's on max points. I can press Tab and just click on an item and my character will just say it's ready to use or on cooldown respectively though. My ping is set to m4.

Unfortunately this has been a bug since release that hasn't been addressed.

After rebinding the ping button from Mouse3 I can no longer ping my ability cooldowns. I can still ping on the map using the new keybind, but pinging abilities does nothing. Reverting the keybind change restores the ability to ping cooldowns using Mouse3.
