VOICE CHAT ICON MISSING IN HIGH PING

Hello, i usually play in NA with +150ms and i noticed that whenever your ping is higher than 120ms the voicechat icon below the character icon is missing which is really annoying since i wanna know who is talking and it makes communication really difficult. Im not the only one that has the same problem since i played with a bunch of friends from my region in NA (with high ping) and all of them have the same problem.
