From what Im gathering Paradox wall has to be up for a short duration of time for it to properly register hits or effects. The classic combo of wall and swap to pair the animations causes the enemy to pass through the wall without the wall dealing damage, silence, slow, or having any effect at all.
Admittedly I dont know if this is intended or a bug. I simply cannot understand any reason it would be intentional other than to kill the character.
