Still an issue, had a mate crash when a match started and then again after a reinstall. Full deleted all deadlock related files and we're trying again, I'll edit if we can actually play a match.
Edit: he got banned for 3 hours from his first infraction? Seriously?

ATTENTION PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THIS! POTENTIAL SOLUTION!
A friend of mine who suffers from this, tried everything, finally, the solution is to first, browse local files for the game on steam, leave the window open, simply uninstall, then on the window you left open, should be some files leftover, delete those manually. Restart your pc, re-install the game. Might be some better ways / explanation steps for this but this is what my friend did, and were able to play. Hope this helps other people who are suffering from this. Will update if the crash still happens, and if theres other solution.
