Sometimes when using quick cast on "Defend and Fight!" and "Captivating Read" the ability will break and not work. However, either when I parry or when I get stunned the screen that comes up when I hold the abilities on quick cast comes up. I don't know what causes it to break but it has happened fairly consistently with my gun build Paige games.
