Occasional Freezing/Rubberbanding [Solved]

So far every match I've played has had some ping, or latency spike, or desync, and it happens every 8-10 minutes. My player just starts spazzing out and teleporting. Sometimes it's a solid 3 second freeze that then catches up to the game. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Ping has generally been stable for me, around 30ms usually.

I personally get a lot of what seem to be shader compilation freezes, which can sometimes be a short 0.5 second stutter or sometimes a long 5+ second time where the whole game freezes. After this my client then has to sync back up with the server which can cause some further rubberbanding and network issues. It usually happens right in the middle of fights of course, which can be quite frustrating. Not sure what to do about it though. I've tried using everyone's abilities in sandbox mode but it never seems to catch every shader.

Example:

Getting a "No video with supported format and MIME type found" error from your vid. I can't see it.

Windows 11
Ryzen 5 3600
Radeon RX 6700 XT
Google Chrome

I usually record using OBS with H.265 GPU encoding then transcode to H.265 CPU encoding using Handbrake. Maybe your browser doesn't like H.265 for some reason?

Here's a H.264 version:

I have the same CPU. Could be related. Also, the video works and it's the same issue I'm having.

My Specs:
Windows 10
Ryzen 5 3600
Nvidia 2070 SUPER
32GBs of RAM

issue still occurring today, game keep rubber banding after 5 minutes ish in the game. Ping and fps is stable

By any chance is your CPU a Ryzen 5 3600?
Having the exact same issue on a Ryzen 5 3600 as well, it's been happening pretty consistently even though I can always get 60+ FPS. I invited a friend who also has a 3600, I'll see if they have the same issue when they get in.

I am experiencing this myself. Spell effects will halt, creeps/players halt etc, happens every 10-20 seconds.

Is there a net_graph type command that can show jitter/loss? It's sorta frustrating because I don't have any packet loss going on anywhere as far as I can tell.

CPU is i7 11750k, 3060TI

Having this issue myself and I didn't post about it because I assumed the issue was that my PC specs don't meet the minimum system requirements. I gained access to Deadlock on Jun 20, 2024 and did not have this issue the first day that I played. I cannot point out which patch after that when this issue started for me. I noticed that when I'm near my team or following the "creeps" the game runs perfectly fine. The issue begins when I start fighting an enemy player and/or I cast an ability. I don't know how to watch my previous matches to post a match ID but I may start recording my gameplay to show the issue.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K
RAM: 16.0GB
GPU: ATI Radeon RX 580 XFX 8GB

Edit: I switched to DirectX11 for today and the game ran as it did the first time. I guess Vulkan needs work.
