Items in this list are mostly one time wonders, you bought em and then sell when you dont have 150 souls for 6400 items you save so much.
So i like to start i discussion and know what other people think about it
1) Restorative Shot to Mystic Shot
Both one are on bullet effect that easally put into one category that are somehow completely perpendicular to each other, which is strange. I really hope these items will become one line, which will end with a third item like "Magic Missile", which will cost 3200 and give a mega bullet that debuffs and deals damage, but let these two items at least be connected (

2) Rebuttal to Counterspell. This is another pair of items that fit into the same niche. RB is currently a niche item that's rarely bought because its powerful effect depends on whether your enemy will hit you with melee attacks at all. While it's a great counter to Abrams, Shiv, and Whip in lane, people more often prefer to buy extra health or damage for fighting. My suggestion is to change RB's effect so that instead of a damage buff, the item gives a chance to gain a shield every 12-20 seconds. If you "parry" spells, you'll still receive damage and its effect, but the shield will absorb some of it. This will help more passive players and MAYBE lead more people to buy a counterspell.

3)Weapon Shildin to Plate Armour and Spirit Shielding to Divine Kevlar.
Weapon Shieldin to Plate Armor and Spirit Shielding to Divine Kevlar.
A less logical but more personal wish is that more people buy these wonderful 1600 shields. These items aren't thematically similar to the previous ones, but in this case, they serve the same function: blocking a certain amount of specific damage. PA and DK will get some stats from their "ancestors," and I'll get Haze, who buys Spirit Shielding to avoid being one-shot by Lash

I agree with 1 and 3; especially 3 if I am honest. Spirit Shielding and Weapon Shielding are such good items in lane and Weapon Shielding is crazy underrated in lane for whatever reason. This would make more people buy Weapon Shielding.

I think for the sake of game balance that having Rebuttal upgrade into Counterspell would be too powerful. Counterspell is already one of the top 3 items in the game and giving a -2 parry cooldown on top of being able to shutdown any ability in the game (ult included) sounds on-paper too strong. Although I do honestly believe that Rebuttal is spiritually what should precede Counterspell but unless they nerf Counterspell or Rebuttal I do not see it happening.

Really cool post, I like these ideas and concepts a lot regardless of my criticism on the Rebuttal -> Counterspell suggestion.

Yes, I thought so too, but CS has its own separate cooldown from parry and, just like RB, restores HP from blocked damage. It seems to me that just a bonus of 30% damage to the target whose attack you blocked would be very FAT, considering that it will work on abilities too
