If you start a slide while grounded and don't let go of crouch, you won't re-enter a slide when you land. Starting by crouching in the air or repressing it while in the air lets you continue to slide. This has led to a lot of situations where I'm expecting to slide after landing on flat ground or another slope but just crouch slowly instead.
