While logged into Steam AND connected to Deadlock, I was disconnected from the game. I received an in-game pop-up stating that "No Steam Login Found" or something like that. I did not get a screen capture, but this isn't the first time this has happened to me.
I was able to reconnect to the same game, but my PC had to reload all of the resources which took about 30-45s.
