New vamp hero concept

Well firstly hello all thanks for reading this if you’re here. I just recently got addicted to Deadlock thanks to a couple buddies of mine and I wanted to make a hero concept which really I’ve never done with any game before. So I will admit this concept is just straight up the character from the original source material but I am down for any thoughts on name changes for abilities or the character himself. So without further ado:

Deadlock: Count(Alucard)





“Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.”





Lore: The Count, or rather Alucard as is preferred by him and his associates, is OLD. Older than drifter (who he may or may not have created) and certainly older than the upstart brat Mina. Thanks to the modifications built into his very soul by his masters in the UK, Alucard possesses vampiric abilities beyond that of the most powerful vampires, on top of the fact that he may very well be every vamp’s great great great…. Grandpa? He’s a “living” weapon, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Sent by his masters, he prepares to soak the streets of the cursed apple in red for the sole purpose of completing the ritual and ridding the world of all malevolent monsters, or perhaps to create a human foe worthy of ending his existence. Or maybe he’s just here to rip the drifter’s throat out. Only completing the ritual will tell.





Primary Weapon: .454 casull and Jackyll: these powerful handguns can be used at a variety of ranges. While in hip fire Alucard fires both guns in succession, proving to be of great use at short to mid range. However when aiming down sights, Alucard limits himself to the jackyll providing a boost in range at the cost of reduced magazine capacity. Hipfire ammo count: 14, Ads ammo count:7. Hipfire falloff range: 25m+ Ads falloff range: 50m+





Ability 1: Baskerville -


Alucard transforms the right side of his body into the hound of Baskerville. Pressing primary fire causes the hound to launch forward and maul anything it comes in contact with. Scales off melee damage and inflicts anti heal on targets below half health for 6s. Base cooldown 25 seconds base range 9m

Tier 1 upgrade: range +6m, tier 2 upgrade: reduce cooldown - 6s, tier 3 upgrade: targets inflicted with anti heal with this attack heal you for the duration.





Ability 2: Necrotic Regeneration -


Alucard sends his body forward and escapes via a swarm of bats. The corpse will mimic Alucard’s movements for 5 seconds after casting and eventually standstill and fade. The corpse has a base health of 150 If the corpse is destroyed all targets within 5 meters of the corpse will take damage and be inflicted with 5 seconds of deep bleeding (bleed plus slow). While in swarm Alucard can freely move in any direction and takes reduced bullet and melee damage but is more susceptible to spirit attacks. Swarm lasts for 10 seconds and can be cancelled. Base cooldown of 30 seconds.

Tier 1 upgrade: increased movement speed while in swarm, Tier 2: reduced corpse health to 100, detonation range +5, Tier 3: when destroyed , the corpse will release bats that fly forward in the radius of the corpse, targets hit by the bat will be inflicted with 5s of lifesteal.





Passive: Bird of Hermes - blood is so much more than just food for vampires. For each minion target solely killed or hero killed/ assisted, Alucard gains a stack, minions grants 1/2 a stack, while heroes grant 4 to a max of 40, Alucard is given a permanent stacking weapon damage buff. Also whenever Alucard receives a fatal blow, he is immediately healed to a max of 30% base health depending on stacks accumulated. This heal then goes on cooldown for 120s. Killing heroes provides additional benefits to Alucard's ultimate.

Tier 1 upgrade: reduce cooldown to 100s, Tier 2 upgrade: stacking weapon damage buff increase. Tier 3: max heal increased to 50%, ability 1 now benefits from weapon damage buff.





Ultimate: Restriction 0 - with the permission of his masters, alucard walks through the corpses of his enemies. Alucard releases 3 npc ghouls from his body that prioritize Heroes, and then creeps, but avoid objectives. For each unique hero killed prior to using ultimate, Bird of Hermes will provide the ghouls with the abilities, with the exception of ultimates, of the heroes killed allowing them to periodically use these abilities. Upon casting: Alucard transforms to Vlad tepes Dracula, changing primary fire to melee sword attacks and secondary fire to spear throws. Ability 1 is changed to spear rain: a group of ghouls throws spears in a 10m range that inflicts antiheal on targets and heals Vlad if the attack hits, this scales off weapon damage. Ability 2 becomes liliac încărca: Vlad transforms into bats and flies forward piercing through targets inflicting 5 seconds of deep bleeding and lifesteal, this scales off spirit damage. Ghouls remain until killed or Alucard dies. Base transformation time: 20 seconds. Base ghoul health: 500. Base cooldown: 150 seconds


Tier 1 upgrade: increased transformation weapon damage by 10%, Tier 2 upgrade: reduced cooldown -30s, Tier 3: summon 2 additional ghouls with increased health.
