My take on the Conductor's design and abilities:
Conductor is a tiny wondrous creature, that sits on top of a drum. The drum standing sideways, like a wheel.
When Conductor moves his legs, he spins the "wheel".
To jump, Conductor stomps on the drum, causing it to bounce.

Left Click-
Conductor carries a music sheet, which shoots long range Notes (rounds) with high velocity and large hitbox,
but with VERY slow fire rate and only 6 ammo Magazine!

1- Tempo - Passive
An even smaller Drummer sits on the "wheel". (behind the Conductor himself)
This Drummer plays a 4 beat melody on the drum, each beat lasting 1 second.
If the Conductor shoots an Attack during the first beat, its damage is doubled.
***Enemies will notice this Tempo as 4 globes levitate above you, this will make the Conductor predictable, allowing counterplay.
UPGRADES
1: This Attack Also Heals Allies it passes through!
3: +50% AOE Damage around the Victim
5: Drummer plays 25% faster.

2- Violinist - 20s CD
Summon a Violinist that plays golden vibrations in a 5m radius.
It will travel in a chosen direction, Damaging Enemies in passes through,
then coming back to you, Healing Allies as it returns.
If cast in the Final Beat(4th) of the "Tempo":
+50% travel distance
+30% Damage & Healing
UPGRADES
1: -10s CD
3: +3m Radius
5: Travels 30% Faster

3- Flute & Clarinet - 40s
Summon a duet of Wind Musicians at target location that spin around each other in a 10m Area.
Enemies inside are slowed by 25% and can't Dash. Lasts 4 seconds.
If cast in the Final Beat(4th) of the "Tempo":
The area is extended 5m in front of each musician,
making it rotate with them, as its no longer a perfect circle. (now resembles a wide rectangle, rotating)
UPGRADES
1: -20s CD
3: +3 sec Duration
5: +15% slow

4- Virtuoso- 20s CD; 1 CHARGE
Summon a pianist in front of you, which warms up for 1 second,
then plays a massive soundwave in front of you for 1 second, damaging Enemies.
If the soundwave is played in the Final Beat(4th) of the "Tempo", it also knocks Enemies away(for 5m),
dealing 50% bonus Damage.
Upgrades:
1: +1 Charge
3: +Damage
5: Also grants Allies a Spirit Shield

It looks like Valve is going to add a “musical” character, according to their work on the test character: “selecthero hero_cadence”.
AI concept art. Similar in height to an "Ivy" or a "baby invoker".
There is a lot of room to go wild with a musical character and his style. but I think we should go in the direction of music that a lot of people will like — classical music. the test character already has an ultimate ability with classical music and it sounds good.
I propose to make a character “Conductor” who will have classical music of different moods in all skills...
